Entry Requirements

Please keep in mind that the practical activities and assessments in this training require a degree of physical ability, especially the CPR component. You must be able to complete CPR to a manikin on the floor for at least 2 minutes. If you do not have any difficulty kneeling for this duration or when maneuvering a manikin, you should have no issues in this course.

Entry Requirements
  • Students must obtain a clear National Police Check and Working With Children Check to be able to complete the workplace component of this course.
  • Students will complete a pre-training review (PTR), including language, literacy, and numeracy assessment, phone interview, and a face-to-face interview.

Learners must be employed as a registered Trainee.
