The Australian College of Nursing’s (ACN) National Immunisation Program for Healthcare Practitioners course is based on the National Immunisation Education Framework for Health Professionals (2017) and has been accredited by the ANMAC subsidiary Health Education Services Australia (HESA) to deliver this course. HESA is the National body for health education accreditation and ACN is the first institution to have its Immunisation course accredited.
Duration
Flexible, self-paced (a minimum of 21 days up to a maximum of 120 days)
On completion of this qualification you will be able to provide remedial massage. You may be self employed as an independent practitioner or may work within a larger health service.
Entry Requirements
You will be required to have a current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003 Provide first aid). Information will be provided on enrolment.
On entry, you will need to demonstrate appropriate literacy and numeracy skills by undertaking a literacy and numeracy assessment. You may be required to undertake additional Foundation Skills subjects to support your learning and success in this course.
Begin your career in the health industry with this qualification. You will learn about the musculoskeletal system and treatment options to improve clients' health and wellbeing.
Entry Requirements
An IELTS score (academic) of 6.0 with no band score less than 5.0 or equivalent.
Equivalent to Australian Year 11 with passes in English.

This courses include practical placement, is nationally recognised by professional associations and peak bodies, allowing you to register as a Remedial Massage provider.

All applicants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of course commencement and complete the Basic Knowledge Skills Builder (BKSB) assessment and meet Exit level 3 (working at level 4) for both literacy and numeracy., Applicants must also attend an interview., Please note: All students need to obtain a clear volunteer Working with Children Check prior to undertaking work placement. Students who are unable to complete work placement, will be unable to successfully complete the requirements of the course.
When you complete this course, you will be ready for a career in remedial massage. You will have the skills and knowledge to perform massages for relaxation and health purposes.
