Entry to this qualification is limited to those who have completed:

The following units (or equivalent competencies):

• BSBHRM411 Administer performance development processes
• BSBHRM412 Support employee and industrial relations
• BSBHRM415 Coordinate recruitment and onboarding; and
• BSBHRM417 Support human resource functions and processes

Equivalent competencies are predecessors to these units, which have been mapped as equivalent

OR

Have two years equivalent full-time relevant work experience.

A pre-enrolment interview will be conducted, and your lecturer will determine whether a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment is necessary to establish support requirements, or to meet eligibility requirements for VET Student Loans.

Admission requirements are met by one of the following:

• Successful completion of the Northern Territory Certificate of Education and Training (or equivalent) and the awarding of an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) of at least 60*.
• Successful completion of a national qualification at Certificate III level or higher.
• Successful completion of at least 0.5 year of full-time study (or equivalent) of a higher education degree/diploma.
• Overseas secondary or tertiary qualifications considered equivalent to the above Australian qualifications.
• Attainment of a STAT Multiple Choice score of 140.
• Successful completion of the Tertiary Enabling Program, the Preparation for Tertiary Success courses, or other recognised tertiary preparation course.
• Submission of an acceptable personal competencies statement and/or employment experience.
• Defence members with service of 1 year or more at the following ranks (or higher) meet the academic entry requirement for this course:
  ~Air Force: Aircraftman/Aircraftwoman, Corporal, Leading Aircraftman/Aircraftwoman
  ~Army: Corporal, Lance Corporal, Private
  ~Navy: Able Seaman, Leading Seaman, Seaman
• Current School Leaver Pathways:
  ~Best of 3 Year 12 subject grades
  ~School recommendation program

* After any applicable adjustment factors have been applied.

Students are to complete the LLN Robot Quiz and receive a minimum of Level 2 across all five areas, as those who wish to commence this course need to have the required skills and knowledge to undertake the qualification at this level and a general command of spoken and written English to be able to meet industry standards for communication in the education sector.

Students require a suitable workplace (either voluntary or paid) in which to undertake placement.

CDU Domestic Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements into ICT30120 Certificate III in Information Technology however the preferred pathways for candidates considering this qualification may include:

> Completion of ICT20120 Certificate II in Applied Digital Technologies, or other relevant qualifications.
> Demonstrated vocational experience in a range of work environments using information technologies.

Students attend a pre-enrolment interview with the lecturer to determine if they have the required LLN and Digital Literacy skills to successfully engage in the qualification and that the course selection is suitable.

Preferred pathways for candidates considering BSB40420 Certificate IV in Human Resource Management include:

• BSB30120 Certificate III in Business or other relevant qualifications and/or
• Relevant vocational experience.

Students are required to undertake a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LL&N) assessment to establish support requirements for all enrolees undertaking this qualification.

CDU Domestic Entry Requirements

Preferred pathways for candidates considering this qualification may include:

• Completion of ICT30120 Certificate III in Information Technology, or other relevant qualifications;

OR

• Demonstrated vocational experience in a range of IT work environments in a network support role, including administrator, manager, operations analyst, operations engineer/technician, or technician.

A pre-enrolment interview will be conducted where the lecturer will determine whether the student has the required language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) and/or digital literacy skills to undertake the course and to determine any support requirements.

To ensure you have the right skills and support to succeed in your course, a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LL&N) evaluation helps identify any areas where you may need additional support to help you achieve your goals.

There are no entry requirements for this qualification.

However, students will need to demonstrate an appropriate level of language, literacy and numeracy skills and knowledge to undertake a course at this level.

It is highly recommended students undertaking this course will be currently employed as a ranger or recently employed as a ranger.
