To gain entry into, CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction candidates require:

• Recommended completion of English and Maths to a year 12 standard
• Mature-aged students, with industry skills and knowledge
• Confident computer literacy
• Candidates are expected to have or obtain an NT White card

To gain entry into CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction as an apprentice, candidates require:

• To be an Apprentice who has entered a Training Contract with their employer and Australian Apprenticeship Support Network NT

There are no entry requirements for this course however students will be required to:

• Have access to Adobe Creative Suite
• Undertake an Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment to determine individual support requirements, if applicable

• Have an apprenticeship contract in place between themselves, Australian Apprenticeship Support Services (AASN), and their host employer.

You are required to wear enclosed shoes during the course, and appropriate clothing such as: a hat, long pants, sleeved shirt with collar and a water bottle.

• Completed AHC40920 Certificate IV in Conservation and Ecosystem Management or a relevant qualification; or
• Be employed in the conservation industry.
• Access to a suitable workplace to undertake workplace-based assessments and demonstrate ongoing application of skills and knowledge
• An equivalent Australian Year 12 certificate

Entry to this qualification is limited to those who:

Have completed the following units (or equivalent competencies):

• BSBHRM411 Administer performance development processes;
• BSBHRM412 Support employee and industrial relations;
• BSBHRM415 Coordinate recruitment and onboarding; and
• BSBHRM417 Support human resource functions and processes.

Equivalent competencies are predecessors to these units, which have been mapped as equivalent.
