Applicants are required to undertake a Pre-Training Review to help confirm the course is suitable. Applicants enrolling as an Apprentice/Trainee must have a registered training contract.

Must have undertaken the HSR Initial OHS Training course.

Students applying for this course must be a licenced electrician whose electrical licence is expiring within 24 months. Students must provide a copy of their electrical licence with their enrolment application a minimum of 14 days prior to the course being held to secure their place.

Each student will undertake a Pre-Training Review before enrolling to help confirm the proposed course is suitable. It will provide valuable information about an individual's existing skills and knowledge, language, literacy and numeracy skills and whether the course will help in achieving learning and/or employment goals. The PTR is to be completed supervised and onsite at a SuniTAFE campus. Students need to be over 18, have a good command of the English language, and must supply their own work clothes including boots. Photo ID is also required. Please note $67.60 is to be paid to Worksafe to collect the licence on completion paid via Australia Post. 2 Passport pictures are required to complete the application, these can be done at Australia Post. Graduating students will be WorkSafe compliant, once they receive their licence. This qualification is valid in Australia. Students must reside in Victoria or close to the VIC/NSW border.

It will provide valuable information about an individual's existing skills and knowledge, language, literacy and numeracy skills and whether the course will help in achieving learning and/or employment goals. Students are required to complete the ACER assessment at SuniTAFE under supervision plus an interview to gauge suitability for the VPC.

Students must be enrolled in to a suitable secondary school with appropriate contractual arrangement with SuniTAFE for the delivery of this course. Each student will undertake a Pre-Training Review before enrolling to help confirm the proposed course is suitable. This PTR will provide valuable information about an individual's existing skills and knowledge, language, literacy and numeracy skills and whether the course will help in achieving learning and/or employment goals or if any potential barriers to learning are to be expected.
