Applicants are also required to provide evidence of the following during the application process:

1. National Police check - Annulled Record
2. Working with vulnerable people registration (volunteer status)
3. COVID vaccination - up to date
4. Flu vaccination
5. Complete a *BKSB - English and Mathemtics task to at least; ""Exit Level 2""

All applicants will be required to complete a *Basic Key Skills Builder (bksb) task. To ensure your Writing and Mathematic skills meet the required level (exit L2 working towards L3).

Account details and instructions will be sent to you within 24 hours of applying. If you have previously undertaken the Literacy and Numeracy Assessment - we will review your results and notify you if further action is required.

Due to the popularity of this course, applications are processed in groups. Applicants within the first group will be invited to an interview where they will complete a questionnaire. They will need to successfully complete the questionnaire to obtain a place in the course.

If your application is not within the first group, you will be placed on a wait list and will be invited to an interview if a place becomes available.

For entry applicants must show evidence that they have a Registered Working with Vulnerable People Card (RWVP) or a receipt that the applicant has applied for a RWVP card. A RWVP card is a requirement of the National Quality Framework Regulations for Early Education environments (if a receipt is used as evidence the card must be shown as evidence prior to stating the course).

You will be required to undertake the Basic Key Skills Builder (BKSB) to confirm you have the required Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills to work at Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) exit level 2 or higher. If you have previously undertaken the Literacy and Numeracy Assessment - we will review your results and notify you if further action is required.

• One year's welding experience, subsequent to or during an apprenticeship to an acceptable trade, including 40 hours training in the welding of pipe using the manual metal-arc welding process; or
• Two years' welding experience and documentary evidence of the successful completion of one or more welding programs, which includes at least 300 hours training in the theory and practice of welding and, during or subsequent to this period, 40 hours training in the welding of pipe using the manual metal-arc welding process; or
• Three years' welding experience and, during or subsequent to this period, 40 hours training in the welding of pipe using the metal-arc welding process.
