Students must be a minimum of 18 years of age at the course commencement.
All applicants must sit a Basic Key Skills Builder (BKSB) test. This test will be administered via Holmesglen. You must achieve a minimum exit level three (3), working at level four (4) in numeracy & literacy.
Applicants may be required to attend an interview.
Diploma of Nursing English Language Requirements. The Diploma of Nursing has entry criteria set by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council. All students entering this course must demonstrate they have achieved the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) specified level of English language skills, prior to commencing the course. You need to be motivated to practise safely and professionally within the defined scope of practice of the enrolled nurse.

Clinical placement requirements
Prior to the first clinical placement, all students must:
hold a valid Working With Children Check
hold a valid National Police Record Check
Hold a valid NDIS worker screening check
meet the following immunisation requirements.
Measles/Mumps/Rubella
Hepatitis A
Hepatitis B
Tuberculous
Diphtheria/Tetanus/Pertussis
Polio
Influenza
Varicella
COVID-19 Immunisations
Prior to the commencement of the course students must be fully vaccinated, including having had their booster shot (third vaccination) to attend clinical placements.
You may be admitted to the course with advanced standing for units of the qualification that have been completed at another registered training organisation. Advanced standing will be judged on a case-by-case basis.
