In the Course in Initial Adult Literacy and Numeracy you will complete tasks that will help improve your foundation literacy and numeracy skills, while engaging in creative electives and vocational tasters.
Entry Requirements

To be eligible, students must be at least 16 years of age.

Students must be able to show evidence of a diagnosed intellectual disability or specific learning difficulties requiring additional support.

It is expected that learners in this program will have LLN skills at ACSF Levels P1 - 1. Some learners will have a spiky profile, with a deficit in a particular core skills area (or areas) e.g. reading. Learners will undertake an LLN assessment as part of a pre-training review. All students study Literacy and Numeracy as a core subject. Support is provided in class by LLN teachers. Students are encouraged to use programs such as Read & Write Gold to support their literacy skills.

You will need to have:
