The Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade is an Apprenticeship program for apprentices employed in the metal, engineering fabrication, manufacturing or associated industries with engineering fabrication work.
Entry Requirements

To be eligible, students must be at least 16 years of age.

You must be registered in an engineering apprenticeship arrangement with an employer in the metal, engineering, manufacturing and associated industries.

Holmesglen recommends all applicants have a minimum of Year 10 English and Mathematics.

As a requirement for this program, the learner must be engaged in an Engineering Apprenticeship within the metal, engineering, manufacturing and associated industries or other industries where Engineering Tradespersons - Fabrication work.

The Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Career Start) is a pre-apprenticeship electrical course, providing an introduction to the electrical/electronics industries in areas such as electrical, renewable energy, air conditioning/refrigeration and instrumentation.
Entry Requirements

To be eligible, students must be at least 16 years of age.

Holmesglen recommends learners have a minimum of Year 10 level English and Mathematics; Year 11 is highly recommended. This course is not recommended if you find mathematics at this level challenging.

There are no formal entry requirements but you should be from a non-English speaking background and over 18 years old.

Entry into the 22485VIC Certificate II in EAL (Access). will be determined according to a participant's

Entry Requirements

To be eligible, students must be at least 16 years of age.

Unrestricted Electrician's Licence

The Bachelor of Business Administration will equip you with a thorough understanding of specialised business functions, including business management, economics, finance, technology, marketing, business communications, statistics, law and people management.
Entry Requirements

To be eligible, students must be at least 16 years of age.

Prior to enrolment or commencement of this higher education program, you will be required to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment. This will assist with determining your suitability to the course, and identify any learning support needs.

Applicants with Recent Secondary Education (within the past two years)
This course uses the ATAR as part of its selection considerations.
Prerequisites:
Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 30 in English (EAL); Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English other than EAL.

For Applicants with:
- Higher Education Study
- Vocational Education and Training (VET) Study
- Work and Life Experience.

The following selection requirements apply:
- Your entire academic record will be considered.
- You will be required to attend an interview and bring a current resume, detailing work history, as well as certified copies of relevant qualifications. Selection will be based on previous study and work experience.
- Applicants without a formal qualification with relevant work experience and appropriate English language skills will be considered if they can demonstrate that they have a reasonable prospect of completing the course.

Advanced Standing
An applicant may be admitted to the course with advanced standing of up to eight subjects (48 credit points) for successful completion of approved diplomas and a maximum of 12 subjects (72 credit points) for the successful completion of approved advanced diplomas.

Advanced standing will be judged on a case-by-case basis.

The Certificate III in Electrical Fitting is the prerequisite for eligibility of the Energy Safe Victoria Electrical Fitter's Licence and provides the background knowledge and skills required for successful work in the electrical manufacturing industry.
Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements to this qualification, but as a requirement for this program, Holmesglen requires all learners to be engaged in an Electrical Fitting Apprenticeship. You must be signed up as an Apprentice with your chosen employer and have selected Holmesglen as your selected training provider.

In addition, learners must be at least 16 years of age when enrolling in the program. This requirement meets the minimum age requirements for training and working in the Electrotechnology field in Victoria, determined by Energy Safe Victoria (ESV).

It is recommended that applicants have completed Year 11 or equivalent, due to the literacy and numeracy requirements of electrical studies. Holmesglen recommends all applicants have a minimum of Year 10 English and Mathematics.

The Certificate III in Hospitality Traineeship offers a promising career path in hotels, restaurants, cafes, clubs, motels, and pubs. This nationally recognised qualification provides an opportunity to specialise in food and beverage or accommodation services while allowing for multiskilling.

To be eligible, students must be at least 16 years of age.

Students must also be employed as a trainee in a suitable workplace and have a current delta number.

Holmesglen workplace assessors will undertake an inspection of the workplace to ensure the facilities and equipment are suitable and at an industry standard to provide the required training as per the training package.

The Diploma of Sports Turf Management has been developed for individuals working in the sports turf area who have completed a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management and are looking for senior or specialist turf management roles.
Entry Requirements

To be eligible, students must be at least 16 years of age.

Applicants must have previously completed a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management or an equivalent turf management trade level qualification.

Alternatively, applicants must hold a Certificate III-level qualification in amenity horticulture combined with two years' current work experience in a trade level role at a sports turf facility.

The Certificate IV in Engineering - Fabrication and AutoCAD Pathway - is a post-trade course developed for existing engineering tradespeople or apprentices in an engineering trade choosing to study at a higher level during their apprenticeship.
Entry Requirements

To be eligible, students must be at least 16 years of age.

While there is no qualification entry requirement, it is assumed the learner is either already a tradesperson with access to structured on- and off-the-job training.

It is recommended that applicants have completed Year 11 or equivalent, due to the literacy and numeracy requirements of engineering studies.
